  7. Hi there , I am tempted to go for the tachyon 11.5mm with the zigzag as I would like the rope to run through easier. My current imori 12mm rope is quiet tight through the zz and doesn't tend through easily. Some reports say the tachyon rope wears a lot with the zz , how long have you used yours for and would there be any real difference between the 11.7mm yale bt and the 11.5mm tachyon ?
  8. Hi all , I am currently using the zigzag mark 2 with a Yale Imori 11.7m rope. The rope seems to be a little tight and doesn't run just as smooth as I'd wish. The question is do I go for a Tachyon 11.5mm climbing rope Or Marlow Aeris blue & yellow 11mm I feel the 11mm would be better , just wondered if you can advise , Cheers
  9. Including free delivery, check out their web site .
  10. Purchased the trolley from chainsawsnorfolk.co.uk for £308.33 +vat if any of you want a good deal.
  11. On the down side , I have had the trolley for 6 months and have came to the following conclusions. The trolley is heavy to move and pick up for transport, e.g lifting into the back of a transit. The trolley weights 38.5 kg when all assembled ( nearly two bags of cement ). The long handle fits poorly into the main frame of the trolley with lots of play. ( I rang the manufacturer about this but they just fobbed me off ).After the first few days of use we had two punctures because the tyres are not great, so buy some puncture sealant gel. Overall I feel the trolley will work , and it will not bend, but it is over weighted and poorly built for the huge price you will pay . My suggestion is to design your own, good luck

  21. Hi all , just cooking Sunday lunch and had an idea of making our arb soft wood waste into charcoal. We sell hardwood logs and have no avenue of using our soft lump wood, mainly leylandii, spruce etc. I know a lot of people who split them for logs, however, all of our customers want hardwood only. I would appreciate any comments or ideas ?

I have seen six trees in the last month in the midlands area. There are no signs of insects or decay. Maybe it is due to the very wet weather? can anyone help , Cheers Chris
