Anyone give me an idea how much to charge for stumpgrinding 6 12-18" leyllandi stumps from rear garden. Trees felled 2 years ago!

Want to charge a fair price as it will lead to other work, hire of grinder is £55 for day.

depends on grinder mate,

for £55.00/day presume its only a smallish 13hp grinder so probs a couple of hrs work for one.

£150-£180.00 all in.

we have a largeish bandit grinder so would probs have them all done in an hour so would charge £140.00 tops if it were a local job.

Thanks, I was thinking around the £180 to be fair. Think it will only take a couple of hours and then making good the ground. Should lead to a bit of landscaping work as a follow on. Fingers crossed.

The last grinder I hired had such blunt teeth I would still be there if I hadn't off-hired it and got my money back, so make sure the machine is up to the job.

Thanks Mark will do. I had the same problem with a 4'' chipper took ages and would have been quicker to load up the Iffor and take to the tip. Got my money back from the hire shop on that one.:thumbup1:
