Do you get alot of kickback on a short bar with the 576?

 

no not at all but i use super chisel chain on my saws so less kick back. and i use it on larger bits to big for smaller stuff use little echo for them but thats not got the grunt need the 550xp which has more power then can cut smaller stuff with that one and big stuff with the 576xp.

HI STUBBY well with a 660 it will take a 16 ""bar to a 3ft bar or a man saw is a 880 16"" to 4ft I'm large chap but a 880 for no more then a 1to2hrs is ok but any more that it mate jon 660 for me on beach jon :thumbup:

Just about to go out and buy a new 660. Toss up between that and the 880 but I reckon the 880 would stay in the locker most of the time which is a waste of money. Also got a 590xp but too many little things go wrong on it. Also run a Stihl 361 I think it is which is an awesome saw. No help in answering the riginal question though.
