We have stitched an loop into the end of my throwlines, so you can thread them through the pod's eye, around the end of the pod into a lark's foot on the ring. For quick release to pile hitch onto your line...this alleviates any need for knots to get caught in the line...I'd take a photo, but I'm not going to get my gear in this rain! Will post a photo when the sun shines!!

I hate loops in my throw line, it's just another added thing to get caught up on something, cow hitch all the way,
