how long to remove 10 foot with picker?

This is a common job for us here in France.

I'd allow 15-20min per stem inc. chipping.

Includes freeing the line with a bit of silky work.

Take a first aid kit up into the basket with you!

If you want to remove the lot, I'll hedge my bets here...

I think approx 16 per day for a 3 man team arisings removed, wood stacked on site

I'd use the cherry picker to totally free the line first before knocking out the tops from the picker with 2 guys and one on the ground.

Stumps look like a short day with a pedestrian grinder.

Regards

Ty

its removing tops 10 foot and hedge cutting it roadside, theres 3 more rows like this one but battery died when I took that second shot. There is over one load of chip there also there be no cord as everything we cut is not over 6 inch dia.

Are going to do it from road if so how busy will you have to move a lot, what type of picker where you going to use. Amount to chip from conifers is a job to estimate.

if using the picker it has to be roadside as its 3 foot higher ground the other side and turfed. The road is pretty quiet in the day. 27m picker for 3 days i can have for £650 cash. As for waste times what you think by two as its usually the case.

if passing traffic has under 3 metres to pass you will probably need traffic management

Traffic management is going to be to blokes on the deck and a chapter 8 set up. its tucked out the way enough to avoid picker permit for highways.

Save on picker hire, easier without, buggering around setting up a picker, the lines will be clear by the time the picker is ready to work and traffic issues!!!???.

picker isnt just due to lines its the amount there to be up and down and the density. Plus I dont have a bagless hoover so hoovering up the trails of connie through the house wont be far off picker hire

So your saying you can have that down chipped and swept in 2hours :confused1:

A few hours, so about 3. Wouldn't be any sweeping, I have a blower.

10 feet off the top isn't much.

Not trying to have a peeing competition, it just looks a very simple job.
