Well yes. Just a builders bag size.

There are at least 3 sizes and the smallest has only half a metre so that come out to £140 a metre for oak which can be a pain in wood burner.

In my opinion if you pay more than £35 a tonne for cord you are cutting up logs for free.

I had a good 'phone round and couldn't get cord anywhere for less than £50 / tonne including delivery (for an artic load).

Without delivery it was still about £40 per tonne.

Here in the New Forest it was higher :confused1:

i am just outside the purbecks in south dorset.

i only sell a few cord to local ppl who like to chop their own logs. They collect the stacks in a crazy assortment of transportation. Presently i am all sold out of these stacks, but can take orders for this summer/autumn.

Wood is usaully a mix of oak, silver birch and occasionally roddenedun (spelling)

(just to plug- hardwood logs also sold, plus do sell artic loads of cordwood sometimes but nothing atm)

Hmm, too far away unfortunately but I'd definitely be interested if there was someone in my area who'd got anything similar going.
