When you think about it 2strokes are the only engines that always have brand new oil unloke a 4 stroke where you have to change it every 6000 miles or whatever . Razz it from new . Its the modern way !!

i used to do do that with girls along time ago, but cant seem to get the decent rides these days:lol:

 

but yes normally steady snedding or a little light logging is how ive always done it.

Throw it straight in the deep end! They are made to work the day you buy em. Bought a 201 a couple of weeks back, a 46 last week, running fine.

 

I don't think I've even taken any of the 7-8 saws we've got back after their first 4 hours work. All run fine.

Give it some in the cut but on the first few tanks, let the heat dissipate before the next prolonged cut.

 

Light but fast cuts are supposed to be best as it allows the engine to bed in quickly before glaze builds up.
