Hi all, had 550xp for 3 months, it wouldn't start last week so gone up to fr Jones, when it comes back my mate is buying it, he's in love with it, as I needed a ground saw asap went into local dealers and got the 550xp bigger brother, the 560xp, I went for standard 15" bar and .325 chain,

It seems to be an uneven match, the engine seems to big for the .325 chain,

Just want to know wat other people are using.

Josh.

16" powermatch plus, 8pin sprocket, .325 on what ever is easy to get when i need a chain oregon/stihl/full/semi etc.

Im not sure the difference between chains for 99% of chainsaw operators is actually an issue in the UK as unless your on a tonnage rate production cutting then an ability to sharpen well is more important than what type of chain it is. If i get the choice I will normally go for semi as i do cut riverside trees and in ancient woodland where the moss and debris can dull a full chisel faster but at the end of the day its only a few minutes at brew time with a file to sharpen it up again so I wont get upset about it. From what i see on here most people fell above ankle height anyway so low level debris isnt likily to be an issue.
