Two bikers in 4 days

On Friday, a 65 year old man lost his life on a very local stretch of road.

 

65-year-old biker dies in crash on the A350 (From Bournemouth Echo)

 

Last night a 16 year old girl travelling westbound lost her life on the A31 near Ringwood. The road was fully opened at lunchtime today.

but so many times a bike will suddenly appear up your rear end from nowhere or overtake dangerously. If you're pulling out of a junction in a car and suddenly a bike appears over the hill at 120mph its the car driver who'll get the blame. they say think bike but maybe the bikes should be a bit more carefull and think car too.

Its very sad that so many lives are lost but there are so many idiotic bike riders out there:thumbdown:

Very true - there are plenty of idiot bikers.

 

But that in way excuses the majority of SMIDSY type RTCs which can be put down to poor obs on the part of the car driver.
