I've had mine for years , great tough old saw , easy to get parts still too .

Not that fast by todays standards , but I still like to air it from time to time .

Yeah, they're great. Just need a bit of respect when starting, if you're used to new saws with a decompressor they've got a real kick.

Bah! Decompression buttons are stupid, if ya can't pull it over normally, you shouldn't be using it! The 385 is a beast to pull over! I don't use the button on that, so a 266 should be light work

Husqvarna 550xp, Makita DCS7901 and Stihl 088. Love all three saws.

Interesting comparison between an MS660 and the Makita at the weekend and in some very large Noble Fir, there was very little in it on 25 inch bars. Noticeably lower vibration on the Makita too. That said, the Stihl was running an out of the box chain, which was hopeless. Depth gauges down, teeth sharpened and there was a bit more of a difference, but not as much as you would think. Give that you can get the DCS7901 for £600 including VAT, it's a ruddy bargain.

Let's see....

Husqvarna 346 xpg, Dolmar 5105 and Stihl 241 for limbing

Husqvarna 560, 390 XP, Dolmar 7900 and Stihl 660 for bucking and so on....

And a Husqvarna 3120 in case I want a backache and a rupture....

Yup, I now understand that, 090 is on its 3rd starter, one lasted 3-5 starts
