Hi all

 

Just had 25 come in and have 10 left, be quick if you want one as I don't think my next batch will be for about 4 weeks.

All order are next working day while in stock.:thumbup:

 

It has in stock next to it as soon as this disappears we have run out again.

I would like to see a drop test with a zig zag SRT without any added friction, maybe we can have a whip around for a zz,and see if Dan and ian would do the honours of testing it for us as they have experience of doing it with the rw etc.

You buy one and I'll break it:D a friend of mine has access to a proper testing lab, could try to get in there too

I'm on it mate! I had a go descending on it today srt with no added friction on velocity it was erm pretty fast:-/.

Be careful trying stuff like that. Remember it's also possible to release a hitch on a single line but what happens after that can vary. The zz isn't designed to work srt, and you could have issues with it biting.

I've just read the PDF from petzl, have you seen it. It shows descending SRT but with the tail through a Munter hitch/ krab off your side D for the extra friction.

Just ordered mine so will be trying soon hopefully.

Lol boys I'm fully aware that its not meant to be used srt alone but I was experimenting with it to see what it is like, it grabs fine and releases easily but it's hard to control a smooth descent!
