That would take me 2 days to prep it & 2 days to lay it by myself. All depends what equipment you have got to prep it & how quick you are at laying it also if theres alot of cutting in to do

How longs a piece of string, depends on what the ground is like, ie is there an existing lawn or soil type, how much leveling to do and also how much barrowing is involved.

Hard to say but on average I would allow 2 men 3 days, and expect a really nice job of it.

4 days to lay 440m3, that's quite a long time, should be able to do it in 2/3 tops, you don't wanna leave it rolled up too long. As for rotorvating, what's the soil? Clay will take longer

I was meant to seed the lawn last year but it was so wet and I couldn't get on it . It's had a day of rotovating I would have thought it would need spraying again. That's good I wasn't so far out I think I'm going to put 3 days on plus a few hours for spraying it

Thanks a lot people

Last one we did took half a day to prep 150sqm that was using a turf cutter and rotavator then raking flat and then 3/4 of a day to lay turf. My advice anytime is use a turf cutter saves a lot of unnecessary waste

have a look into laying large rolls. Rolawn do these and also hire the handling equipment for it at a reasonable rate. Think it is designed more for sports turf situations but 440 sq m would be ideal situation for this method.
