It was and i didn't do much of it as i was driving the Mog and chipping on the first day.

We carried out approaching 30 tons and left about 6 on site.

Casper, Anna and Stuart are all members on here and will no doubt testify to the crapness of it all lol.

That tree was 36 tons!

I would have though it was about 3.6 tons about.

Yes it was proper crap and no i wouldn't ever ever do a job like that again it's not worth the hassle as people won't pay what a job is really worth. Sawdust was all tubbed up and carried off site, logs were cut so small so we could carry them 80' uphill and throw them in a 10 tonne ag trailer.

We had 1 x grain trailer full of just sawdust, dross and rakings !

Two trees 6' through at the base multi stemmed and 100' tall !

100' tall combined yes, 50 ft each by the looks of it mate, there's no way on God's good earth that those trees were 100ft buzz. great vid though. Gotta say mate, that looked like a brilliant job, gimme that kind of thing all day, all week all year, easy climb lawson's easy on the saws and dragging branches hundreds of miles is good for the soul and keeps you fit as hell.

Cheers for posting.

Tim, look again. The butt log alone looked to be 24 feet or so...

I'd guess they were 90-100', judging by the time it took for the chunks to drop, and from estimating the height, using the climber as a gauge.

Easy trees but insane drag.

6 foot, though? maybe at ground level....but were they even 4 feet where the felling cut was made?
