Thank you all for your kind comments :). After loading with chip and logs I'm pretty damn sure it was above the towing capacity of the jimny by maybe 500kg :/ however...despite it feeling like driving through treacle and a little soft on the back end it pulled it well, yes the trailer is braked and is rated for 2600kg gross, I intend to upgrade truck as soon as funds permit
