Thanks for replying to the thread everyone. Spoke to Adam today and he seems to be in better spirits, not so much pain and plenty of morphine, he might actually be enjoying himself. His op is in a couplee days then i'm sure he will thank you all himself. Cheers.

Cheers for the update Hollands.

Good to hear Adam is relatively comfortable. :001_smile:

Out of purely professional interest, I'm looking forward to hearing what happened from Adam.

Will be a good wake up call for us all.

Especially as so many members are keen on trialing new techniques and equipment.

Myself included.

Poor chap. Hope for a swift recovery. Hollands, I've broken lots of bones including both ankles. Its a quick in and out job and 6 weeks of plaster. I see you have mentioned a week in hospital, an operation and morphine. What are the details of the damage as this sounds more serious than just broken ankles.

It's always concerned me, this throw bag ascent of trees, it's always going to be a bigger guess as to the integrity of any wood isn't it? Once again hope our man gets a smile back soon.

Bloody hell! ouch. hope adams doin ok and not beating himself up too much-it could happen to anyone. give him my regards bro.

Hey Drew how are ya? Adam's doing well mate, but is still in Hospital waiting for an operation (2 weeks now Unbelievable). So not really anymore news. He's feeling alright is pretty happy, but bored out of his skull. They are saying he's going to be in a wheelchair for 3 months, and not walking for 5, but i think they like to prepare you for worst case scenario. I reckon he'll be up and about in 3 months. Have been telling him it could happen to anyone and it was bloody unlucky, but he is still a bit sad about the whole thing. Anyway he'll be better soon and i'm sure he'll be on here with a vengence once he gets bored of surfing for porn. Thanks again for all the replies to the thread I'm sure Adam appreciates the support.
