Replaced the two components and put it back together...bingo !

Sparked into life, self diagnostics tested and reset themselves and forward and backward lights lit up.

Jumped in, reversed it down the driver and out into the road to find forward didn't work, bummer...there's me sat in the middle of the road. Had to get the landy out and drag it forward enough to reverse back up the drive.

Forward light lights up but doesn't go anywhere, so have gone further back down the circuit board and found two controller chips or drivers, one is reverse the other forward, so one must be duff, replace them both tomorrow and see

Funnily enough, it was only out on the road for five minutes yesterday and a couple walked past it, the lad was that busy looking back at it he nearly walked into my drive wall :laugh1:

Your not joking...it's minimum purchase of £20 for free postage otherwise you have to pay £5 postage for a tiny part that weighs the same as a feather.

What I have been doing is making up the difference in side light and brake light bulbs etc for the trailer, cars and chipper. So I'm not going to be scavenging round trying to find a bulb for the next couple of years
