Harsh but fair. I got the same type of sympathy jokes from the nurses when I crashed into a tree years ago and broke my sternum, and then told them I was a tree surgeon.

Op went well lads! Major thanks for all the best wishes! Only gonna have my ring finger numb for the rest of my life, but I can still move everything as it should, expensive lesson learnt. My biggest worry is that I have to put up with hospital food for the next two days!
