I know it sounds harsh but that's the way we speak in our neck of the woods.

Harsh but fair. I got the same type of sympathy jokes from the nurses when I crashed into a tree years ago and broke my sternum, and then told them I was a tree surgeon.:blushing:

Op went well lads! Major thanks for all the best wishes! Only gonna have my ring finger numb for the rest of my life, but I can still move everything as it should, expensive lesson learnt. My biggest worry is that I have to put up with hospital food for the next two days!

Nothing to worry about there, HAVS would have got you to the same place later rather than sooner. Good result:thumbup1:

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
