We had a college placement that left a 200 T in the chipper when he started it and chipped the end of the bar.

Lucky it was only the 150 and not the 250 as that would of chipped the whole saw

Was on site once upon a time,when I was a wee lad,we had an engineer on site who came to change the blades (company policy) and I was climbing and the two groundless carried on stacking brash first in the hopper and the behind the chipper.when the engineer had finished and before he had chance too drive off the chipper was fired up an then shortly after followed an almighty BANG. What the two numb nuts had done was left a felling lever in the hopper then cleverly disguised it with brash.felling lever was at a right angle and half in the chip box,chipper followed a £2300 bill. Engineer took it away that minute.

This has nearly happened to me when chipping whilst wearing the sawpod . Now I dont leave the sawpod on when chipping .

I bet the boss at the time was really amused when he was informed that the felling bar had been chipped jake!!
