Someone told me once about someone feeding a climbers rope into a chipper with a load of brash. Problem was the client was still attached to the rope up the tree. Council workers I think

 

Putting a client through a chipper makes payment a bit ....well awkward.

We had a college placement that left a 200 T in the chipper when he started it and chipped the end of the bar.

Lucky it was only the 150 and not the 250 as that would of chipped the whole saw

Reason why climbers make good groundsmen, they tend other climbers ropes.

That is nuts. Imagine going to abseil out of the tree only to find the rope has been chipped!!!

been using timber wolves for ages (that dont start chipping without hittin green square),had a jensen for a day (that start chippin straight off),fired it up and it ate my flask and lunch box!

I was talking to a NPTC trainer who was do a tree job with a company and there grounds man put his rope into the chipper wile he was climbing he cut the rope just in time , and the grounds man ran like the wind as he was making his way out of the tree.

we had some one chip one of our blowers. got half way up the spout of the blower befor he noticed. managed to save the main part
