That's my conclusion on the oiling, regular cleaning is the way forward.:thumbup1:

 

Just got mine back from the dealer with a new oil pump fitted, the saw had an on and off problem with oiling, working one day and not the next. All sorted now tho, great saw :thumbup:

One of the guys I was working with swears by his.

 

I tried a number of times to persuade him to use a bigger saw but he wasn't having it!

I see others have had the problem of the clip that the saw strop is attached to breaking (popping out). This has also happened to mine which I think I mentioned before in this thread. To those that this has happened to, what are you now doing (how are you attaching your saw to the strop) to stop it happening again? I am currently tying it to the bottom of the handle (by the oil cap) and then feeding it through the clip. This works but obviously is not ideal.
