iam looking to buy a lawn spreader for moss killa, i dont want to spend loads as i probably wont use it much.

i have found a push one on grim reaper for £55 that looks ok.

the thing is they have a towable one for £80 that looks way better built, so i was thinking i could make a handle for the tow one and use it as both tow and push.

is this a good idea ???

any thoughts thanks carl

I asume you meant green reaper ?

it's a disc type spreader wont the vanes be the wrong way around on the tow one if you push it ?, so you could push it but you will get product all over you, and if you pushed it from the tow end the vanes won't flick the product properly.

thanks for that pointing out that really obvious minor detail which i had over looked. made me laugh .

think i will just go for the cheapy one as suggested.

thanks carl

Just remember if you decide to get a "cheapy", you may be disappointed:sneaky2:. If your in the business for any length of time buy a decent spreader that will make your investment back and than some:thumbup1:
