That's what I want to stop my kit being knicked!

You could also try a sign saying "DANGER - WOLVES"

Alarm mines (12 bore blanks) along the paths/entry points and doctor a few logs with black powder charges. :001_smile:

alarm mines work a treat. my parents own 34 acres of woods and get problems wth poachers after the deer we put up signs saying no entry this wood is used for shooting, poacers will be shot and burried in he wood. then i fixed 15 alarm mines to the top wire of the fence all the way round the boundry. if you fix the trip wire to the top wire halfway between two posts near a point of entry then run the trip wire to one of the posts through a staple then into he woods a couple of meters and attach the mine to a post or tree. when the top wire is pushed down to climb over it it tightens the wire at the staple and pulls the pin on the mine. sounds like some one is shoting in the wood.

cut the bottom off of a 2ltr coke bottle and sit it over the mine to keep the weather off.

we also had some mini flares left over from whn my father had a boat. but some one saw them going off and the police came round and said we had to remove them.

another good one is dog poo on the tops of your fence posts.

You sound as though you have the same problem as us which we are addressing this summer im putting in 6ft livestock fences topped with barb they are a nuisance though even with a 6ft fence some still have the cheek to try I have my beware of the gaurd dogs signs up they quiet blaintently ignore well if my dog bites them on the arse whilst they are tresspassing it their fault they will just have to prove it was my dogs once our fence is up im going to top the posts and top barb with anti climb paint then we are going to get pigs in on the land.

If I caught anyone in person they can watch out as the last one I escorted back over the fence with my dog even though he was flashing his bill hook at me should of reported him really but whats the point in the places we can not put barb in goes the hawthorn and blackthorn hedging if I ever get time may do it right around our boundry although that would be a lot of hedge to keep cut and maintained its better than having to escort people off you land who think they are entitled to just take your wood and trample your fences we even had one recently drove past our drive we were at the gates he stopped put his car in reverse backed up asked the hubby could he park on our drive hubby asked what for he said to put some wood in the boot! hubby told him where to go but was in shock! obviously been at our wood pile otherwise how else did he know there was wood there some people have the cheek of the devil I thought he had stopped to ask for directions lol
