Hi chaps! Just pulling up ALL of my brassicas as they've been decimated by caterpillars (I know Annette would've helped but she wasn't available at the time😜). Any suggestions on what to plant at this time of year? I have plenty of salad leaf, carrots, beetroot etc was thinking more of something for the winter? ...ImageUploadedByArbtalk1377433080.411678.jpg.e4a57fa90c0ec7e961aceca3eac4f526.jpg

Update to my wasp trap, Got 36 in the dissolved toffee solution. 177 in the strawberry jar and the pear jar is successful but not emptied yet. Probably got less than 10 bluebottles in all jars, Some of the wasps are bigger. Queens? but not hornets.

I spray them with rape seed oil as it kill them by suffocating them I think I use about 20ml per litter of water and just spray it on the plants as they were still salvageable

Little help please! After my radish and kale has almost vanished in a haze of caterpillars, my tomatoes are now suffering. It's the marmande variety suffering most. A few days ago it looked like a few growing tips looking dull and willing, lack of water I thought... now random leaves, shoots, fruits and in one case the stem base are willing with dark almost brown discolouration. My sun baby, gardeners delight, money maker and garden pearl seem ok at the moment, I think. Also they are in pots while the marmande are in grow bags.

Can I save them?! More importantly, are my chilies which are doing great in the same greenhouse at risk?

Any advice appreciated

Don't say it could be the dreaded blight😱 aaarrrgggghh!

Just to be on the safe side I would remove any affected leaves/fruits/stems and burn, then shift your chillies somewhere else (belt and braces). Keep an eye on the rest of the toms! Are they in a greenhouse...?
