I'm trying! Would get it converted but its an old truck so not worth spending the money. Quite happy digging it out for now :)

Have you ever thought about lining the bed with a tarp, then when it's time to empty it tie the tarp to a tree and drive away?

Yes have done it a few times before. Only problem is that my chip tip site has no trees behind it!

Not on comission , but ...loadhandler?

I wouldn't bother with the load handler for that amount of chip...I had a hicap Landy with one & broke it within 2 months...to be fair it's not designed to shift the amount I put in the truck.

I've now converted to a tipper!

+1 to that, if they spot him that is with all that camoflauge

Saw vosa pulling people into a layby on the way to job this morning. Apparently they were still there this afternoon, my colleague saw them and kept going round the roundabout and went back to the yard a different way:sneaky2:.

It was a good load on both vehicles - the spec said take 7.5ton lorry for capacity err slight underestimate we filled 13ton lorry with chip and logs plus 2 dumpies of sweepings as well as well as filling the 130 with logs and tools. Bit of a slog but finished by 3 o'clock
