Had a thought today and you lot are the first people I have seen all day!

Can you get/make hydraulic extension pipes for a splitter? Only thought it as the pipes on my tractor mounted are short as expected, but it is mobile enough to be lifted to awkward corners where the tractor cannot reach or if I borrow a hydraulic power pack it doesn't have to be sitting 2 feet away from me.

 

will it slow the flow down if the oil has to travel a longer distance? sorry if answer obvious!

Thanks treequip. Are they removable extensions? Any decrease in speed do you think?

 

They can be, you just put quick relese couplings on each end I just kept mine coiled on the splitter when it was on the linkage and moved it away to get away from the noise and fumes.
