i had 1 on demo a few years back. the rep said it would way out perform my 200mx.

it was so slow at pulling stuff in, had to keep waiting to lob in the next bit. flippin loud as well. the rep said it was because the blades were blunt. A hydraulic hose blew in the end poring oil all over the road.

i also just dont like the fact that nothing is covered up.

It wasn't even close to out performing the 200mx

i didn't buy one

I have had a couple of Bandits and worked on many, I would have another tomorrow. :thumbup1:

Taken as a whole they are solidly built reliable machines, there are some things they do better than others and some things they do worse but you can say that about all machines.

Bandit uses American standard fasteners, threads and hydraulics so most of your metric spanners won’t fit (some do kind of) but A/F spanners can be found on any car boot sale for pennies and any excuse to buy tools is OK by me.:thumbup1:

Any spare hydraulic hoses you have lying around will likely be metric or “BSP” threads and Bandit runs ”JIC” thread so they won’t fit.

Can beat a bandit, reliable and very well built. Had a 90 then in 2005 upgraded to a new 150 it now has 1900 hours on the clock and all I've ever done is change blades. About 18 mouths ago got a 75 what a machine that is, now have three of them with a tracked one on order. The 150 is hardy used only on big crappy jobs. Have a look at the 75 as well as the 90 you will be impressed.

What is a 200mx mate?

I've never had a bandit but have been looking into them lately. One thing I have noticed is they have a variable intake roller speed that will go upto 90 feet an minute, thats 18" per second! I fell there must have been another reason it was slow pulling stuff in?

When you say "icing on the cake" what other points would you say were negatives?
