i looked into it a couple of years ago at the time i would of had to import one personally

 

the price tag was over the $30k mentioned above & the import costs were unbelieviable!!!

 

i decided quite quickley that it was out of my price range!!!!

Towable with a 1 ton pick up!!!

 

That dually must be about 4 ton with a v10 in it ha ha.

 

Cracking bit of kit, a lot of small skinny logs I would never think of selling going through the splitter though.

Electric brakes are not as far as I am aware legal in the UK, no 4x4 is wired up for them for a start.

 

Machine is fast yes but a 6 way split on perhaps a 400mm log leaves logs that my customers would reject as to large.

 

I did see a similar machine at the arb show this year, Multiteck from memory. Not sure how smaller logs will drop into the splitter though.
