Both my ultra O's on my hitch climber failed to close last week, I hadn't noticed until I moved onto climb my second tree of the morning when neither biner would close, some sort of plastic insert has popped out the bottom of the gate keeping it permanently open? There only a few months old.

What ya think lads?

I will post pictures tomorrow lads, it could be possible that in the cold something has contracted and these have popped, it was minus 7 that morning or colder?

For karabiners, it's not too cold! Remember, these things are designed to work in rough environments.

Get them back to the manufacturers - hopefully you'll get sorted out, and DMM might gain some useful information.
