Morning all!

 

Anyone know of some good equipment suppliers around/in/within 30 miles of cambridge?? I have searched and searched, found one in Norfolk but wondered if there are any closer?

(boring thread I know but im desperate to find somewhere I can go play with new kit and convince my self I need it!!) :thumbup:

Duxford hire at whittlesford or greens at hadleigh Ipswich or bts at needham market. Greens and bts probably better ones but a bit further .

We are about hour and a half from you, but you do get free drinks and a climbing wall to use oh and also we have everything you should need in stock.

Why not organise a rec climb near you? Or go to one that is close? As soon as the weather picks up I'm sure there will be loads going on. Everyone I've met through here has been sound and most would be willing for someone else to have a go.*

 

 

(* obviously not if you're looking for chainsaw trousers! I was talking about climbing kit!!:thumbup1:)

Duxford Hire & Supply is nearest to you but you'd probably be better off nipping down to Jonesie for choice & price.

 

As said Duxford H&S is the only place close to Cambridge but they don't have much on display.

Landmark Trading at Stamford is alright but to see it all, either a trip to FR Jones or wait for the trade shows to start.

 

Chilli, I guess from SG8 that your somewhere near Royston.

Where abouts are you Oak Oracle?

I'm at Bar Hill.

 

A Cambs rec climb will have to be sorted soon.
