Hi all,

been a busy day today, quoting/paperwork this morning, then 3 and a half loads of logs this afternoon,

1st load went sweet,

2nd load was on route, however road was blocked by a fallen tree, there was a farmer and his workman cutting up this oak & a smallish beech next to it,

I said to the farmer "do you want a hand to clear it mate"

he said " no, go around the other way:001_rolleyes:"

I then Said " well up to you, i need to get through to deliver the logs and im a tree surgeon, got my saws in the back"

he smiled, looked at his pal and said grab your saw them BUY,

about 45mins later the trees were logged up & he let me take away the timber I cut, was doing it out of good heart but he let me have some oak.

He thanked me and shook my hand and said he would pass my card onto the landowner,

so well chuffed, 3 & 1/2 loads of logs got delivered and the farmer was happy:thumbup1: just shows sometimes a little kindness can go a long way.!!
