My dealer does not have masses of equipment, what he has you can't buy, thats 40+ years of experience.

 

£100 for a tool sounds pretty cheap really, most of us will spend that on fuel each week.

That's good and that's exactly what you want.

 

But going from generators to saws is a big step. Plus being new as I have done and that is to break a saw not using the right equipment. Without the experience the right tool for the job makes it easier. Then you pick up and learn tips along the way.

 

If someone turned up to me with a saw and saw me smacking the crank case with a ball pain hammer to get it apart I wouldn't blame them if they quickly walked away again.

Have you seen the stihl special tools catalogue? It's bigger than the ms200t workshop manual...!:lol:

 

No, but I've fixed my saws plenty of times with just the tools under my seat in the mog :biggrin:

Sometimes I only need a really big hammer to 'fix' them.... They never give me trouble again....! :lol:

Because there in the scrap bin. :lol::lol:

 

At least it saves time having to strip one when you need some parts from it:biggrin:

Often find they're not always quite the right shape! :lol:
