Went well still not able to get out of bed yet my custom body brace comes today then they will try to get me up.

In bed with my laptop with a morphine pump on my arm, 2 drains in my back and big tube down my nob (not looking forward to that coming out) and various other things.

Not in much pain at the mo but when they get me up its going to hurt i've been told.

They gave me about 20 pills yesterday so i'm well spaced out feels good though.

 

I'll post some pics of me getting the plaster cast for the brace done later.

 

I'll keep you updated on how it goes.

Great that is the first hurdle over. Good news. Not too keen on the thought of a photograph of you being fitted with a plaster cast, but hey will go with that as long as we get piccies of all the hospital eye candy!

My brace, must wear whenever out of bed for the next 6-8 weeks

 

Managed to walk 40m twice today but it knackered me and well sore, not all bad though had a bed bath this morning from a nice nurse.

 

I'm off for another pump of morphine.
