I was thinking of a 110 to carry tools inc' tracked chipper and tow 3.5t. Does any one know what the leg' is, do you then need a restricted O licence as it will potentially be 7t GTW? VOSA don't make it easy or crystal, I have searched the internet and am still unsure. Like anyone with a 3.5t I am overloaded with my kit and my lunch on board.

The criteria for "O" licence is crystal clear.

Vehicles with a MAM of 3500kg or less don't need one.

Trailers don't come into it until the vehicle has a MAM of more than 3500kg.
