i would love to see there insurance premium!!!

 

all those would have been claimed on the hire's own hired in plant cover section of there insurance ! :) so im guessing the hire company's premium wouldn't be horrendous well ok horrendous to us little fellows !

And it appears to be on flat tarmac with no evidence of the ground having given way under it.

As the stabilisers weren't down I suppose they could have been driving with the boom up and turned too sharp, or just a really strong gust?

The second Hiab was photoshopped into the water.

 

Agreed. There is no way that would go in the water. It was too far away from the edge to fall in. And the jack was long enough that it wouldn't of allowed it to. The arm would have bent first.

Just searching through a local machine hire Companies website - good to see they have a sense of humour. They have a section showing their machines in compromising positions!
