Nothing unusual, but taken over a couple of minutes in Worsley Woods last week. More gano than you could shake a stick at, loads of monoliths etc. Anyone know who manages it?

 

Salford city council. Lots of monos and ecoheaps round the little assault course.

I thought this was a strange find for the middle of summer, the second picture has a 390xp for scale

 

How........strange ? :confused1:

 

 

often find Dryads saddle fruiting right through from March to late autumn in my experience

We were working there for the civils dredging the lake, so only had a few minutes for a looksie. Really must make time for a better exploration.

Impressive Inonotus dryadeus fruiting on a mature roadside Oak. Apologies for the poor shots, I ditched the truck in the road to get them, so was in a hurry!

Nice big willow and no matter what we said to the owner he wanted the "mushrooms" removing so to stop them damaging his tree. :banghead:

Correct me if wrong, chicken of the woods?
