Jst curious to know what people do with their old saws after you get new etc... do you keep? Or sell on? Even if they still work.... also some newer models dont interchange bits... so do you keep or flog?

I think most people send them to me, I turn them around and they are then sold or used:lol:

 

There seems to be loads of non runners languishing under benches that just need "a slight tweak":001_rolleyes:

 

The magic blue bag of seven MS200Ts was a classic - got five runners out of that - crap to gold methinks:thumbup:

had a old boy stop me today to c if i wanted to but his old saw, used only about 4 times apparently. Some small cc sthil.

 

as we talked it turns out he bought it new in 1980!

True i bought a 009, have now taugh my eldest to strip clean and put back together, waiting for when he can use it then teach my youngest

My dad has a jonsereds 621 in mint condition which he bought new in the mid 70's. I must say the build quality is amazing even by todays standards. lovely plodder to use and been cleaned after every use and kept in the cupboard under the stairs.
