I recently took on a small mixed woodland as a favour for a friend. In return for thinning it I could keep the timber. Lucky me. I introduced another forestry friend to the land for a bit here and there and now he has gone and cut his own deal with the land owner!! And now I'm massively out of pocket!!!

Any advice on what to do now!?!?

He may be forestry but not the friend bit . Go in there and rape what you are allowed . Let him know he is a back stabber too .

Business is business i hate to say it but money comes first with most people and if by cutting someone else out makes them more they will do it. Do not tell anybody until you got a contract in place. I learned this the hard way just like you:blushing:
