Just been to see about a plot of land for building.

New building reg says you can't have all solid fuel heating nor electric but must go all gas or a mix of gas, eco, solid.

Aw...nuts, guess I'll have to ignore it like the French do!

My all electric appartment 52m2 uses £475 of electric per year.

Its built to a high eco standard.

4 bed detached house. Modern badly built new estate type house. A new boiler was fitted a few years since, efficent new boiler at that. Gas and electric are combined in price, and its 1650 a year for both. so meh I don't know, 1000 for gas? Me and my mum dont own the house, just live in it.

HI JOHN is that saving down to your log stove mate thanks jon

Majority of saving is down to replacing oil central heating boiler with Dunsley Yorkshire boiler. We live in a draughty old grade 2 listed stone farmhouse

with single glazed windows. Replacing the oil AGA with an Esse probably saved £250 a year
