I don't think 100 quid is very expensive for a well made product. If its too expensive make yourself a wooden wrench to try it out. Or buy the old one and regret it when you try the zk2

It isn't.

You'll use it most days for hours which means over three years it'll cost you pennies per day.

True, that. If all that is needed is going up and down the rope, there is nothing I have used that can come close to doing the job as well as the Franken-cender. This is the updated and better model.

 

But because tree work involves so much more than just straight rope climbing, give me a Hitch Hiker in SRWP and I'm a happy camper.

Are you serious? The HH does the same job as the RW, it just feels different.

Simple put, it works perfectly in an SRWP application, as does your Rope Wrench.
