Ddrt- Doubled rope technique-standard arborist climbing technique

SRT- Single rope technique- usually reffers to Srt ascent systems only

SRWP- Single Rope work positioning- Access and working a trees canopy using a single static line- Systems include the Ropewrench, Unicender, Petzl RIG and The Hitchhiker.

SRTWP-Single rope technique work postioning- same as above just a different phrase.

DRT- Double rope technique- Climbing or access using two static lines. The french employ this technique with two prussics.

Check out the threads such as;

Ropewrench feedback-alot of reading but will give you links to further info etc

Theres a Hitchhiker thread somewhere that Oldmill started.

Check out Treebuzz, The Treehouse and Youtube for heaps of info and videos.
