As normal cover your over heads then add your profit, Your not going it for free or for beer money.

If they wont pay the price you dont need them. See how much B&Q charge as well as they are selling 8 Logs for £5.99 and people our buying them and they are crap. Where you should be supplying good stuff at a good price

I would say Dean is spot on. I sell mine for £6 retail and £4 wholesale. I get alot of moans about the wholesale price but its not worth me doing for less if the weather stays mild I wont sell much at £3 if it goes cold I will sell out at £6 so I might aswell sit tight they will leep till next year. CPL are not cheap suppliers to the garages because of the delivery costs. I would not be brow beaten into a cheap price.

Why not try them at £3.50 if they take 60 days to pay or offer them at £3 if they pay inside 30 days ??

why not £3.50 cash on delivery ,the same way we have to pay for are fuel of them :001_rolleyes:

saw a pick up truck today loaded with logs. £75 per pick up load or or £140 for two loads. now i know i am to cheap. my prices need to go up to reflect market prices and to make some money.

those who do logs every day are the ones to take notice of and £3.50 to £4.00 a bag wholesale is a fair price.

how long does it take to cut wood split it buy the bags put it in bags deliver fuel for saws, truck. then see how much you need to charge. i only do it for local regular customers. and when i work out my cost not making much per builders bag.
