new years swim again

so its that time of year again to get wet in the north sea

 

been doing it since 2005 its tradition for me.

 

managed to pull my best mate to come and do it for the 2nd time he did it the year before last and he said that turned out to be the best year of his life, he missed last years swim and that was his worst year so hopefully things will pick up for him now he's done the business

 

a few sore heads this morning for us all had to be early as high tide was at 8.50am this morning

Yup was the warmest by far this year only abit of ice on the car but wasnt any wind which made all the difference

Good on you James bit warmer this year than some others.

Tradition is good we always go for a Chinese meal on new years day far more relaxing.

Good on ya fella. Looks a bit like Brancaster to me. Been to Holkham beach today with the dogs. Absolutely packed with people/dogs/horses, but a lovely walk though there is no way I would have considered going for a swim!!!
