Look on your local os map, the mean high tide mark is what your looking for. From there to the water is free pickings. But heck, it's the beach. If you want to carry it, go for it.

this was off part of the beech that has about a dozen houses on it, they said it was ok as it was always getting washed up onto their gardens. Last year during the storm my guys went out and had to remove some that had washed right up against 1 of the houses and was battering the property.

I believe if the wood has sails and sailors on it, then it is theft....and they get a bit miffed if you try to cut lumps off it:lol:

 

Haul it away - sure no one will complain, isn't it maratime salvage or something like that:confused1:

we cut, split and burn the lot. Never had any problems. Stones and sand in cracks were obvious and easy to see and avoid.

 

Youneed to avoid sand in your crack, it will chafe a bit:blushing::lol:
