Depends what your budget is. If new, look at the latest "4x4" magazine as they have a pick up review - the new Ranger comes out top yet again.

After 20 years of Land Rover ownership I bought an 07 Ford Ranger Super cab - its great because you can open the rear doors giving full access to area behind seats - only Ranger and Navarra extra cabs do this (brand new Isuzu does as well). I have been impressed with it - great turning circle, good heater and ventilation, good economy, super cab style suits me perfectly, good off road; only downside is I don't rate the seats at all - got a cushion on mine so I can sit higher up (and I'm 6ft 1"!) and see properly, would have my old Freelander seats in tomorrow if I could.

Horses for courses - ask friends if they have trucks if you can have a drive, what dealers are local, etc. Good luck.

Had anyone driven one of the new Great Wall steed's ?

Or even has and info regarding there performance?

I read some reviews when I first heard about them. Mostly from Aussie sites as they have had them there for quite some time. I wouldnt get one personally

Having just come back from Oz I can confirm Great Walls are what Lada's were in the 80's a bad joke
