Considering the difference in cost between fixed and folding traffic control signs, which do you use and why?

both, depending who i work for!!!!!!! i do like the fold away ones tho, no soar fingers from them bliters

I used fixed. They are cheaper, and to me they have the advantage of not blowing about like the fold up ones. Roll up ones require sand bagging to stop them blowing over as a wagon goes by,

 

I suppose my rigid ones take up slightly more room on my truck but I can live with that!

folding we dont use them all the time and have folding ones in covers stashed out of the way on all vehicles

I have both, but always favour the 750mm steel ones, as the amount of times I've gone mental at a stupid driver who's just crushed my nice expensive folding sign make's me deppresed.
