Ha ha very cool.

After seeing your thread on 1/2hr owls I thought I'd give it a go, practice for any shows I get to this year. Damn it's not easy! I don't normally do pure saw work and I've discovered I need a lot more practice:laugh1:

If you do carve carrbridge it's just saw only You can burn too. 4hour carve with a speed carve in the middle. practice practice.:thumbup1:

one you get more experience , you can get the owl 'blocked out' ( major cuts) in 5 or 6 mins, leaving the rest for 'rounding off' the edges and detailing work. amazing what you can achieve with a dime tip saw. good luck Simon.
