Where do you buy your friction cord.

I want some new friction cord. A couple of bits for my VT and about 3.5 meters for a footlock kleimhiest. I wanted to get tennex for my footlock doobrie and some 8mm for the Vt. I have got beeline and ultratech at the moment but quite fancy something new.

 

I was going to buy from proclimber but they want £9.50 for postage.

I'm using Icetail for my FL strop at its doing pretty well. Bit less bulky than tenex.

Do you have a climbing shop near by, not tree, rock. They usually have reeeeels ofthe stuff, every make under sun. Otherwise you may have to buy abulk to make the postage worthwhile, or buy some other kit. Honey Bros are not charging on shipping however you need to check there price per metre and see if they add the postage that way

I found some cord for my footlock prusik at work, its white and blue, 9/10mm works well.

 

I always assumed that rock climbing accessory cord would glaze really quickly, ive not seen any that really appealed to me.

All rock climbing cord is kernmantle and glazes very quick! I had a footlock prussik made out of it once which led to a near disaster! Never again!
