Anyone want to do recreational/practice climbing Leeds/York area?

Was thinking the same about doing recreational/practice climbing around York/Leeds area. I need the practice myself. I know about you Penfold and I am still working on getting us a tree to climb.

i will come, should be good. As for trees, how about trying hazel wood castle just of the A64, they have some monster trees on there estate?

we might get mistaken for clay pigeons there as all the really big trees are near the quarry where they do the shooting:scared1:.

I know excatly where Hazel Wood is and I think I will go and ask. I do have another site in mind but it will be harder to find if you don't know the area. Hazel is much easier to get to. Thanks for the tip.

count me in, fancy getting my fat arse back up the trees, climbing today and it must be 6months since my last working climb , bloody aching
