Dmm Rapide pulley and the dmm hitch climber pulley whats the difference other than the name of them lol looking at buying

The Hitch Climber Rapide pulley, developed by Treemagineers in conjunction with DMM, maintains all the unique features and benefits of the standard Hitch Climber, but uses a roller bearing sheave in place of the bushing for higher efficiency; thus helping to keep friction constant. Available in three colors.

Good morning good people.

Last time I climbed couple weeks ago, the rope got "oval". I felt it flat on my hands and a closer look confirm that. Should I be worried?

I was 3m from tie in point, using ring.ring saver and a new england 16 strand safety blue.

I notice that in some angles and some cases the fritionsaver tend to not "equalize" both rings and the rope bends just like if it was only one ring in the saver. Could this be the cause? Hope it makes sense.

Hi,

I’m just about to start my climbing career so buying all the gear!

Any recommendations for harnesses and kit would be great.

I have found these climbing kits from Northern Arb Supplies in Sheffield, any comments on if they are worth the price etc would be great.

I’ve already bought a 201 saw, but any other pointers on kit for climbing would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
