Inevitable but horrible.

Be safe chaps.

i know mate sometimes it feels like its a timebomb waiting to go off but you just got to put at the back of your mind

Really sorry to here of this tragedy, thoughts to all concerned.

But I really dislike this "It inevitable" talk, IT IS NOT!!!!, we can all go home safely at the end of each day, there are perfectly safe ways of carrying out our work, lets all take care and work safe.

I've also heard the same story as Drew. There was a thread in here recently about double checking before releasing your lines. This goes to show you should double check nearly everything. Let's learn something from this.

Condolences to friends and family. Another tragedy in the industry.

You could be the safest arborist in the world though and still have a nasty, somethings are just not ours to control e.g when massive healthy limbs randomly snap out that you wouldn't have thought twice about anchoring into something a 5th of the size. There are elements of our job that work on chance/luck.

RIP to the poor dude and thoughts for his friends, family and of course colleagues.
